| Bisons win 2004 AAA World Series 9-3 |
| Russell Branyan & Raul Gonzalez homered for Buffalo & Kyle Denney survived a rocky top of the first inning to pitch 5 hit ball & give the Bisons a sound 9-3 whipping of the PCL champion Sacramento RiverCats. The Cats touched Denney for 3 runs to open the game but the Bisons stormed back in their half of the inning behind Branyan's 3 run dinger off Cat starter Joe Blanton. Gonzalez homered in the Bisons half of the 2nd inning for a 4-3 lead & they never looked back. |
