The Barons avenged their opening day no-hitter lost by pounding C.C. Sabathia and the Yanks 7-3.Jack Lamabe, with late help by Hal Reniff, took the win. Ed Kranepool had another big day going 3-5 with a triple, home run and four rbi. Kranepool now has 7 homers and 29 rbi through the Barons first 24 games. |
